Maxcom LTD. started up back in 1996 by importing and wholesale of bicycles. In 1999 the company released its own production of bicycles. Since 2001 it has rapidly increased its manufacturing capacity from 20 000 to over 200 000 bicycles by the end of 2006. In the same year the company made a major investment for 20 million euro – the construction of a brand new office and production site on 65 000 square meters of which 27 000 covered warehouse facilities. The project finished in 2007 when the new assembly lines of the company were officially put into operation.
Since 2006 Maxcom has doubled its production to 430 000 bicycles a year. The company integrated high-tech testing center for key components and finished products. Warehouse area and production facilities increased to 40 000 square meters adding further 18 000 pallet places capacity. The production enhanced with latest generation equipment for powder, water based and PU fork and frame painting. The system is environmentally friendly, storing waste products separately and which are further utilized according to latest European standards.
Apart from facility investment and development Maxcom implements numerous policies for continuous improvement of production processes, human resources qualification and corporate social benefits. We introduce latest environment protection programs. Maxcom is certified according to latest updates of ISO 9001:2008 which easily allowed full integration of our ERP system equipped with high tech stock unit bar codes for inventory management. All these measures allow us to offer quality European products.
More than 94% company production sells in European Union to retailers, wholesalers and specialized bike stores. Maxcom produces bicycles under private labels for some of the leading brands in Europe.

European mobility week
For another consecutive year Maxcom will participate actively in the "European Mobility Week" in Plovdiv, Bulgaria.
